Over And Over Again
The sun blazes on the sky
like electroshock therapy
for the dusty mind.
The birds are laughing
the grass is turning green
wheee! The children scream.
I can feel the spring
it wants bellies to go round
it wants life to abound.
Sperm to fertilize eggs
flowers to bloom on death
words to praise its beauty.
Over and over again.
