Season of Change
With your long red hair
alone you stand in a crowd.
I watch from the bridge
afraid of discovery.
Outside of the coffee shop
rumors of murder.
Guarded beads
you hold close in your fist.
Seasons of change
it makes no difference.
Twilight beams
bring out the crimson.

I mentioned the art selection but notice now that it is only on the Facebook version?
ReplyDeleteYeah. All the promo posts on Facebook and Twitter have art, all of it archived on the Penny's Page on F/b (which gives people a reason to go there). I also put art on the blog for all poems 10 lines or less, though I'll do it for poems with more lines. But I think Mr. Sulzbach, as an artist himself, should select the art that goes on his blogged poems.
ReplyDeleteCool, and I thank, G.D.
